So my lungs have been getting progressively shittier lately. Besides that, I had a really nasty virus or infection or something that knocked me on my ass for over 3 weeks. For the sake of my health, I'm checking into the hospital (as my pulmonologist wants). I've got stuff to do before I go in, so I won't be checking in until Friday. That should give me enough time to do laundry and stuff like that.
I'm trying to figure out things to do while I'm there. I'm going to be doing a lot of reading, since I told my dad I'd re-read (and finally finish) Stephen King's Dark Tower series. I figure I could try reading some Robin Hobb, as well, since she's an author my dad likes that I've yet to try. I'll have my laptop, of course. I'm also considering bringing my PS2 to play some old PS1 games. Those things can keep a girl occupied for freaking MONTHS. FF7, Chrono Cross, Star Ocean, etc are all multi-disk games that are assured to take up my time.
Feel free to suggest other activities to keep me busy. |

learning to draw is always a pretty good way to kill some time.
writing is also a pretty easy way to pass a few hours.
i tend to spend most of my hospital time watching movies, reading books, chatting on the phone, taking walks, entertaining guests, playing nintendo ds and doing treatments. | |
